    Dragan Mirčić

    Dragan Mirčić was born in 1969 in Zaječar. He started with his music education at the age of seven with the violin teacher Jelena Abramović, at the Music School “Mokranjac” at Belgrade. During high school, he realized successful artistic cooperation with Prof. Lazar Marjanović. After high school, he studied at the State Conservatoire “P. I. Tchaikovsky” at Moscow and graduated in 1993 in the class of Prof. Olga Kaverzneva.

    He has started his artistic career in the Chamber Orchestra “Arko” lead by Levon Ashotovich Ambartsumian. As a member of the Orchestra, he has cooperated with globally renowned soloists and conductors and performed at tours in France, Spain, South Corea…

    From 1994 to 2010, he has been a member of the “Russian State Symphony Cinema Orchestra” lead by Prof. Sergey Ivanovich Skripka. He has participated at projects with globally renowned directors – Nikita Mihalkov, Pavel Lungin, Philip Iankovski…During this period of time, he has performed with the Orchestra in Tunis, Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany… After returning to Serbia in 2010, he started working in pedagogy as a professor of chamber music and orchestra at the School for Music Talents at Ćuprija. The pupils from his class have received numerous prizes and of “laureate” titles at international and national competitions and festivals.
