    Eli Krsteva

    Eli Krsteva was born in 1988 in Pančevo. She completed Primary and Secondary Music School “Jovan Bandur” at Pančevo as the best pupil of the generation in the class of Prof. Bojan Tirmenštajn. She has completed main studies, master and specialization at the Faculty of Music Art at Belgrade in the classes of Prof. Sandra Belić and Prof. Srdjan Sretenović. During education, she has received numerous prizes at competitions in the country and abroad. attended master classes of renowned cellists (Marc Copey, Anatoliy Krastev, Tobias Štosiek, Ruben Dubrowsky, Jorg Zwicker), has been a member of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra “Borislav Pašćan”, “Serbian Youth Symphony Orchestra” as well as of the international orchestra “Central European Initiative Youth Orchestra”. She has performed in various cities in Serbia and abroad (France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania) and in Belgrade halls: both hall and gallery at the “Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment“, Yugoslavian Drama Theater, Student Cultural Center, and also at galleries ARTGET, SANU and PROGRES.

    She is dedicated to pedagogical work since her main studies. In the period 2009/2010 and 2011-2013, she taught cello and chamber music at the Music School “Josip Slavenski” at Belgrade and, since 2014, has been working at the “School for Music Talents” at Ćuprija as a teacher of chamber music and cello. In 2015, she has worked as a Guest Professor for the Cello Section at the project of the system “Europe Youth Orchestra” in Milan (Italy). Since 2018, she has been working as a licensed teacher. She specializes in the field of music pedagogy and in the field of the work with talented children.

    Eli Krsteva is a member of the String Quartet “ARKO” as well as of the String Trio “Allegra”.

    “Big responsibility, which I feel for educating and bringing up future young artists, as well as dedication in my work with them, perseverance and attention in finding adequate approach to each of my pupils individually, make my personality and inspire me to constantly learn, investigate and improve myself as a pedagogue, musician and part of the team of such a significant institution as the School for Music Talents in Ćuprija.”
