    Miloš Simić

    Miloš Simić was born in 1977 in Ćuprija in the family of music teachers.

    He has completed the music high school at the Music School “Mokranjac” at Belgrade, in the class of violin professor Jelena Abramović-Stokić. The next year, he graduated in the class of the viola studies with the Prof. Tomislav Milošević. During his education, he has participated at various competitions and obtained prizes (Belgrade Competition, Music Schools Festival, Tortona). As the best graduate, he obtained the prize from the fund of “Marija Petrović and Janko Ristić”, and as a soloist and member of chamber ensembles and orchestra, he has received the diploma for concert activity.

    He enrolled at the Faculty of Music Art at Belgrade, as the highest ranked candidate, in the class of Prof. Petar Ivanović with whom he has completed his studies, and he has completed his master studies in the class of Prof. Panta Veličković.

    During his studies, he performed as a soloist at concerts in Belgrade (Cultural Center gallery, Ethnographic Museum, Atrium of the National Museum).

    He has attended master classes of Wilfried Strehle (leader of viola section in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra), Ulrich Wrochem (leader of viola section of the Bavarian Radio Orchestra).

    Since 2000, he has been a member of the Pančevo Quartet and Belgrade Chamber Orchestra “Dušan Skovran”. Since 2002, he has been a member of the String Chamber Orchestra “Saint George”.

    He started teaching in 2004, at the Music School “Mokranjac” at Belgrade.

    He has been a viola teacher at the School for Music Talents at Ćuprija since 2012. He has obtained numerous prizes with his pupils at the Republic Competition of Music Schools in Serbia, Review of Young Talents in Sremski Karlovci, International Competition of String Players in Niš, Stringfest in Sremska Mitrovica, Festival of Music Schools in Serbia, Art of the Strings – Kragujevac. At the international competition “European Talents” held in 2023, in Dolny Kubin in Slovakia, his pupil has obtained the Grand Prix of the entire competition.

    His pupils continue their education at the faculties/academies at Belgrade, Novi Sad, Vienna, Berlin…
